Health and Safety
Safety never compromised
If you're buying fireworks from us to let off yourself, then rest assured all our fireworks are tested, and comply with all current standards - namely BS7114.
If you're looking to buy a firework display from us, take a look at the general information on safety in our help & advice section, or contact us and we'll be happy to advise you in more detail.
Prior to any firework event, the chosen display site will be inspected by one of the Fuse Fireworks team, who will carry out a full risk assessment.
All site visits and risk assessments are carried out FREE of charge. So if you're unsure about if, or where you can have fireworks, don't worry. We can help work out where to place the display site for a safe and enjoyable show.
The completed risk assessment together with a method statement and a copy of our £5M public liability insurance certificate, will be given to you and to all relevant parties in advance of the event.
On the day of the actual event and display, the senior firer in charge of the show will review the risk assessment and method statements to ensure they are still relevant to conditions found on the day.
Through out the day, the senior firer will continually monitor all safety aspects of the display set-up and firing, and has the authority to decide not to fire a display if they consider it unsafe to do so.
If it’s not safe, we won’t fire the show – simple as that.
Highly trained firers
All our firers are trained and certified to the high standards governed by the independent BPA (British Pyrotechnists Association).
In addition we also carry out regular refresher training to keep all firers up to date with our own methods and standards of work, and changes to industry regulations.
Use of Technology
All Fuse Fireworks displays are fired electronically, using a variety of the very latest firing control equipment.
These control systems not only help us to produce better quality shows, but are also much safer for our operators to use.
